Display Systems
Visualisation technology is only a part of such a large screen system composed of a matrix of different displays. These systems in general are composed of three different elements (Figure 4.35).
An array of DLP back proj ection units or a matrix of any other display technology in connection with the appropriate split controller are capable to visualise complex systems, video signals, overview maps, and other scenarios. Additional information can be visualised simultaneously everywhere on the wall. All input sources can be controlled, executed, arranged, and automated with special wall management software. Control centres where important data and procedures are surveyed require reliable, flexible, and high-quality technology.
Large screen systems based on DLP rear projection cubes must have the following features for operation in control room environments: [11]
