Install the protector and tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
|
|
|
GASKET <2 |
TORQUE: 12 N m (1.2 kgf m, 9 lbf-ft)
Install a new gasket to the cylinder head.
• Always replace the exhaust pipe gasket with a new one.
Install the exhaust pipe but do not tighten the nuts yet.

Install the muffler ('05 - '07: page 3-9, After '07: page 3-11) but do not tighten the bolts yet.
Tighten the exhaust pipe joint nuts to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 21 N m (2.1 kgf m, 15 Ibf ft)
Tighten the muffler fasteners.
