Borrowed Light
2013. USA. Directed by Olivia Huynh. No dialogue. A boy in an abandoned observatory tries to show the city something incredible.
The New Species
2013. Czech Republic. Directed by Katerina Karhankova. Three friends discover a mysterious bone. With their imaginations running wild, they set out to discover the creature it belonged to.
Snowflake
2012. Russia. Directed by Natalia Chernysheva. A boy receives a paper snowflake in the mail and sticks it under his pillow. In the morning, he finds that his world has been transformed.
Whazzat?
1975. USA. Directed by Art Pierson, Jr. A wordless mystery-adventure using clay animation. The story is based on an ancient East Indian folktale that ultimately explores problem solving, communication, and friendship.
This program is for individual families of up to two adults and up to three kids.
Admission is free. Tickets are distributed on the day of the program only, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tickets will be distributed at the reception desk in The Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Education and Research Building, at 4 West 54th Street (near Fifth Avenue), from 10:00–10:30 a.m. and from 11:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Tickets are also distributed at the information desk in the Museum’s main lobby.
