Viral Parenting! Google Employee’s Daughter Writes Letter to Boss Asking for More Vacation
I give it just another week. One more week and as I turn and kiss the kids goodbye, they will not return the wish, they will ask to come with. It will break my heart. Despite all that, it will break my heart. Perhaps I need my 7-year-old to write a letter to my boss, and I need a boss like Daniel Shiplacoff at Google. A Google employee’s daughter, Katie, wanted to spend time with her dad on his birthday, so she wrote a letter to his boss, and now it’s going viral:
Dear Google Worker,
Can you please make sure when daddy goes to work, he gets one day off. Like he can get a day off on Wednesday. Because daddy only gets a day off on Saturday. From, Katie
