The government of the Russian Federation wants to enter restrictions on currency export.
The government of the Russian Federation it was offered to enter certain restrictions on single export of cash currency by individuals. This restriction will make five thousand dollars. This measure was approved at meeting of the government of the Russian Federation, passing on March 29. This bill was approved by an office. Further this project will be submitted in the Duma for consideration.
According to S. Ignatyev holding a post of the first deputy the Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation, these steps were directed on stopping illegal export of currency abroad.
According to the State Customs Committee only in one 1998 abroad by individuals it was taken out cash currency for the huge sum, a component of 10,6 billion dollars. And pretty often at a time took out the sums to 1,5 million dollars.
The first deputy minister also reported that to prevent drain of capital abroad, some amendments in the Criminal code were developed.
Bills provide some restrictions for nonresidents on currency export from the Russian Federation in volumes of that currency which was earlier imported by them into the country. For residents some restrictions also are found.
